Bushwack, Korman Named to Crain’s 2019 Notable Women List

Rivkin Radler is proud to announce that Jacqueline Bushwack and Cheryl F. Korman have been selected for Crain’s New York Business’ 2019 Notable Women in Law list. The annual list celebrates attorneys who have made an impact on New York City. According to Crain’s, “it honors the achievements of the brightest and boldest legal minds; those with both distinguished careers and exceptional civic and philanthropic activities.”

Jacqueline is a partner in the firm’s Complex Torts & Product Liability, General Liability and Medical Malpractice Defense practice groups. She defends property owners, universities, construction management companies, construction contractors, pharmaceutical companies, convenience store chains, hospitals, physicians, adult care facilities and others in suits alleging premises liability, violations of New York State’s Labor Law, product liability, pharmaceutical liability, medical and dental malpractice, nursing home negligence and toxic exposures. She received a J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University.

Cheryl is a partner in Rivkin Radler’s Appeals Practice Group. She has represented clients in hundreds of appeals involving substantive and procedural issues relating to diverse areas of the law, including attorney and accountant malpractice, civil procedure, commercial litigation, insurance law, labor law, municipal liability, no-fault law, medical malpractice, and premises liability. She obtained a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and a B.S. from SUNY Albany.
