Brian L. Bank, a partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, has been appointed as a new member of the American Red Cross Long Island’s Board of Directors. Joining Bank to the roster of incoming directors include Jim Quent, Partner of Statewide Public Affairs, and Jennifer Solomon, CEO of JSolo, Inc.

Individuals appointed to the American Red Cross Long Island Board have demonstrated extensive knowledge and steadfast dedication to the community—a service that greatly enhances the strength of the Red Cross team in their mission to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies in our region.

“It is with great enthusiasm that we extend a warm welcome to Brian L. Bank as a new member of the American Red Cross Long Island Board of Directors,” said Jose Dominguez, Chief Executive Officer, American Red Cross on Long Island. “Brian’s legal expertise and unwavering commitment to pro bono service exemplify the spirit of compassion and dedication that defines the Red Cross.”

Bank’s extensive litigation experience enables him to handle all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts, as well as various other employment and labor-related matters. A staunch proponent of pro bono service for which his contributions have been numerously recognized, Bank provides pro bono representation to indigent tenants facing eviction through Nassau/Suffolk Law Services, thus providing the poor with a voice in housing matters where they would otherwise be unrepresented by counsel.

“I am honored to join the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross on Long Island and look forward to helping this truly remarkable organization,” said Bank.

The American Red Cross, comprised of volunteers and staff, work to deliver vital services—from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping individuals prepare to respond in emergencies.
