2 Rivkin Radler Partners Named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America®

Two Rivkin attorneys, both of whom are based on Long Island, have been named Lawyer of the Year: William Cornachio for his work in Real Estate Law and William Savino for his work in both Insurance Law and Litigation-Insurance.

William Cornachio focuses his practice on general corporate and commercial real estate matters, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and real estate finance, and other commercial lending. A partner in Rivkin Radler’s Banking and Corporate Practice Groups, Cornachio’s clients include banks and other lenders to real estate and commercial borrowers, distribution companies, owners and developers of commercial properties, construction companies, and a major telecommunications company.

Cornachio counsels middle market companies with business operations or real estate interests in the New York metropolitan area.

William Savino is a partner in the firm’s Insurance Coverage & Commercial Litigation Practice Groups, Savino litigates before trial and appellate courts throughout the United States. He has represented insurers in the September 11 World Trade Center Liability Coverage Litigation and the BPA-Plastic Products Coverage Litigation. He has served as counsel for insurers in the defense of class actions involving underwriting and claim procedures and numerous insurance coverage claims and suits ranging from intellectual property liabilities and business torts to national environmental, antitrust, and reinsurance claims.

Savino served as lead counsel in Nassau County’s suit opposing financial oversight by the Nassau Interim Finance Authority and in suits against the county regarding certain tax-related claims.
