Jason takes pride in crafting winning arguments and achieving positive results for his clients. He strives to deliver good news regardless of the dispute’s size or level of risk.
Jason Gil is counsel in Rivkin Radler’s Real Estate and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.
Jason’s practice involves litigating matters relating to real property disputes, including commercial and residential landlord/tenant proceedings, guarantor actions, Article 78 proceedings and tenant overcharge actions. He has participated in all stages of the litigation process, such as drafting various motions and opposition papers, conducting discovery, arguing motions and appearing in supreme, civil, district and administrative courts throughout New York.
Jason has represented national retailers, commercial developers, residential developers, gasoline service stations and other local New York businesses in all aspects of zoning and land use, including site development, variance approvals, environmental, title, and permitting. He has additional experience negotiating commercial leases and lease amendments and modifications.
Jason has obtained significant judgments on behalf of his clients after trials and inquests and from writing and arguing complex dispositive motions. He has also negotiated and secured favorable and high-level settlement agreements on his clients’ behalf.
Jason is a zealous advocate for his clients and always puts his client’s needs first.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Jason was an associate attorney at a New York real estate firm.
