Beginning her career as a law clerk, Rebecca gained the unique opportunity to observe long-term trends in various areas of law. She takes pride in her strong writing skills, resourcefulness, and creative application of existing law to build winning arguments.
Rebecca is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Professional Liability Practice Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca served as a law clerk to the Honorable Greta Gooden Brown, now a presiding judge of the New Jersey Appellate Division. Rebecca was then law clerk to the Honorable Matthew J. Skahill, U.S. Magistrate Judge, in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, where her responsibilities included pre-trial management of complex civil actions.
At Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Rebecca was a submissions editor of the Cardozo Law Review. Her note, “Bans with No Bite: Why Racial Profiling Bans Are Unable to Create Racial Justice in Policing,” was published in the journal’s 43rd volume. While in law school, Rebecca completed internships with the Honorable Eric N. Vitaliano of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, as well as the Appellate Bureau of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General.
