Peter is deeply passionate about identifying and litigating against large-scale insurance fraud schemes. He takes pride in utilizing all available tools to obtain favorable results for his clients. This area of the law allows Peter to combine rigorous legal strategy with a strong sense of justice, holding accountable those who exploit the system at the expense of individuals and businesses.
Peter Henninger is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud, Commercial Litigation, and Compliance, Investigations & White Collar Practice Groups.
Peter handles all aspects of complex commercial litigation in courts around the country, including New York, New Jersey, and Florida. He prosecutes complex civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, medical suppliers, and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes. He represents insurance companies across the country in the development and implementation of fraud detection and prevention strategies.
Peter graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. While in law school, Peter was an associate editor for the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal. Peter also served as a research assistant for Professor James Sample, a leading expert on voting rights and judicial ethics.
Prior to law school, Peter earned his bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University, where he majored in Political Science and minored in International Studies.
