Nabeel views the practice of law as the art of persuasion built on rigorous preparation. He finds that translating complex information into clear, convincing arguments on behalf of his clients is professionally satisfying. He particularly values working in a collaborative and supportive environment, where a motivated team collectively navigates challenging factual or legal situations to protect clients’ interests.
Nabeel Gadit is an Associate in the Insurance Fraud and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups.
He brings a background in litigation, regulatory compliance, and national security law. As a Judge Advocate, he has served and advised leaders at every level of the U.S. Army. His assignments include the Special Victim Prosecution team, contract and fiscal law attorney for U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, and Legal Advisor to Special Operations Task Force-Iraq. He has litigated more than 20 criminal trials and advised on over 100 investigations involving misconduct, safety incidents, property loss, and procurement matters.
Before joining Rivkin Radler, Nabeel was a Technology Law Attorney for the federal government. He counseled senior officials on regulatory compliance and acted as product counsel for cloud computing, identity verification, and digital services. His work included drafting and negotiating agreements on cybersecurity, data protection, and technology acquisitions. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted cases involving assault, driving while intoxicated, drug possession, and other offenses from investigation through trial.
Nabeel earned a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. At Cardozo, he was an associate editor and published author for the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal and a recipient of the Cardozo Service and Achievement Award.
A native of Queens, NY, Nabeel continues his military service as a reservist and National Security Law Attorney with U.S. Army Central at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.
