Michael thrives on solving complex disputes with a clear, pragmatic approach. Clients value his ability to translate complicated legal issues into practical solutions that align with their goals. He takes pride in being both a strong advocate in the courtroom and a strategic advisor outside of it.
Michael N. Impellizeri is a partner in Rivkin Radler’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, handling complex commercial and construction litigation from case inception through trial. His practice covers a wide array of disputes in federal and state courts throughout New York and in various alternative dispute resolution forums. Michael works with clients to understand their needs and resolve their business disputes methodically and practically.
Michael has successfully represented companies throughout the tri-state area on a variety of matters including non-compete covenants, construction disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, commercial real estate disputes, property damage claims, and prosecuting and defending breach of contract claims.
In law school, he was an associate managing editor of the Sports Law Journal and a member of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law and Corporate and Securities Law Societies. He was also selected to compete in the Tulane National Baseball Salary Arbitration Competition, where he went undefeated, helping St. John’s reach the semifinals for the first time in the school’s history.
