Laura (Mulholland) Gindele is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Coverage Group.  Laura represents and advises insurers in a variety of first-party property insurance coverage disputes and litigation matters, including extra-contractual litigation.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Laura worked as a litigation associate in a regional law firm, making regular court appearances and serving as litigation counsel in matters spanning the simple to the complex.

While attending Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Laura served as Issue Editor on the Touro Law Review and authored a published article exploring property owners’ fourth amendment rights.  She also served as a research assistant to Professor Jeffrey B. Morris and received the distinguished CALI award for earning the top grade in multiple courses.

Laura is Committee Vice-Chair to the Property Insurance Law Committee of the American Bar Association, and co-authored the article entitled, “Recent Developments in Property Insurance Coverage Litigation,” for the Annual Survey of the Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal Journal, Spring 2019 Issue.

Laura received the 2019 Young Lawyer Recognition Award at the annual ABA Property Insurance Law Committee Meeting, which is given to a young attorney who has demonstrated excellence in property insurance law.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Since 2019, The Legal 500 has recommended Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Coverage practice in the insurance: advice to insurers category. The Insurance Coverage Practice Group since 2016 has been included in the Chambers USA directory in the Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Insurer category.
