Katherine enjoys the fast-paced environment that insurance fraud provides. She finds that building connections with empathy and respect—both with clients and opposing counsel— is key to achieving common goals and reaching workable compromises.
Katherine Lalor is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud Practice Group with deep experience in no-fault insurance law.
Prior to joining the firm, Katherine was an in-house counsel associate at an insurance company. She represented the company at arbitration hearings, conducted examinations under oath, and investigated fraudulent no-fault claims. She also defended consumers against deceptive labeling by manufacturers.
While obtaining her J.D. from Touro Law Center, Katherine served as a judicial intern in Suffolk County Supreme Court for the Honorable H. Patrick Leis III. She was also a law intern at Touro Law Center’s Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic, where she assisted Long Island homeowners facing foreclosure. Additionally, Katherine served as a senior staff member for Touro Law Center’s Law Review, vice president of the Labor & Employment Law Club, and student ambassador for the Nassau Lawyers Association.
