Josh was drawn to real estate, and particularly landlord representation, because it sits at the intersection of property, problem-solving, and people. He enjoys helping commercial and residential landlords navigate disputes with clarity and strategy—protecting their investments while working toward a practical, lasting resolution.
Joshua M. Tare focuses his practice on landlord-tenant disputes and real estate litigation.
A partner in Rivkin Radler’s Commercial, Construction, and Real Estate Practice Groups, Joshua represents landlords and tenants in commercial and residential litigation in New York State Supreme Court and Civil Court throughout the five boroughs and adjoining suburbs of New York City.
Joshua also represents clients before various administrative agencies, including the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal and the New York City Environmental Control Board.
Joshua has substantial experience litigating real estate issues concerning non-primary residence, assignment and sublet, succession, overcharge, non-payment, and various complex commercial and residential real estate disputes.
