Joshua Beckham is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group. He focuses his practice on complex litigation in both state and federal courts. Joshua advises insurers in coverage matters involving commercial general liability, environmental claims, cybersecurity, and other high-exposure risks.

Prior to joining the firm, Joshua clerked with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. His judicial clerkship experience provided him with a strong foundation in federal procedure, motion practice, and judicial decision making across a wide spectrum of civil litigation. Previously, he worked as an associate for a global law firm providing immigration solutions to corporate clients.

Joshua received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as a senior member of the St. John’s Law Review. He was also awarded the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and the Scholarship and Leadership Award. He was further awarded the NYC Bar Association Diversity Fellowship in 2017.

During law school, Joshua interned with the New York City Law Department and the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

Before law school, Joshua received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages from the University of Louisiana.
