Jess Lefebvre is part of the firm’s Insurance Coverage group. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation and insurance defense. She represents clients at the trial and appellate level.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Jess practiced in criminal law, starting as a prosecutor before transitioning to defense.

Jess is on the Board of Directors for the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association. She was the Health and Wellness Chair for the 2022-2023 year and will begin as Events Director for the 2023-2024 year in July. She worked on the committee to plan the 2023 Judicial Reception and the events leading up to it, including the Judicial Assistant Breakfast. Jess is also an At-Large Board Member for the Murray Hill Preservation Association and an active member of the Murray-Hill-O-Ween planning committee.

Jess graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She received book awards in Legal Writing and Introduction to Lawyering. Outside the classroom, she was an Executive Research Editor for the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy and the Executive Vice President of Administration for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, among other roles. Jess spent a summer in the Housing Clinic at Yale Law School and a summer with the Legal Aid Society – Criminal Defense Practice, in Queens, NY.
