Greg’s clients rely upon him for navigating complex problems with strategic and practical solutions. With over 30 years of experience, he has earned a reputation as a highly skilled litigator and advocate, who is committed to always being responsive to his clients and never being outworked by his adversaries.
Gregory Miller is the partner-in-charge of Rivkin Radler’s New Jersey office. He serves as co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Greg has 30 years of experience in civil litigation and corporate counseling, including trial and appellate work involving complex commercial matters, intellectual property, and insurance law disputes.
His practice includes litigating contractual, business torts, and shareholder and partnership disputes. He represents pharmaceutical and other corporate clients in a wide variety of intellectual property and matters including restrictive covenants, unfair competition, trade secrets, copyright, trademark and patent cases. He provides counsel and drafting advice in connection with business ventures, including supply and licensing, distribution, confidentiality, employment and other agreements. He has also provided advice and acted as counsel in more than 100 Hatch-Waxman and other patent infringement disputes in New Jersey.
Greg also represents and defends physicians, medical groups, laboratories, and other licensed providers in a wide range of health care, administrative, and business law matters including Medicare/Medicaid audits and fraud investigations, private payer audits and appeals, medical staff discipline, credentialing and peer review, and professional licensing. His work also focuses on False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory compliance issues. He also regularly advises small business owners and entrepreneurs in the formation, sale, and purchase of health care practices.
In addition, Greg has significant experience representing companies in the nutraceutical and supplement space, including consumer claims and class actions. His practice also includes litigating complex insurance coverage disputes and subrogation claims, including environmental and catastrophic claims, and bad faith actions.
After graduating from Colgate University, Greg attended the University of Tulsa College of Law, from which he graduated as a member of the Tulsa Law Review and the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. He also received a certification in Resources, Energy and Environmental Law from the National Energy & Environmental Law Policy Institute.
