Chris utilizes his litigation and investigative experience to advocate for his insurance carrier clients. A former prosecutor, he relies on his background to craft his approach when it comes to civil litigation. Whether arguing cases, taking testimony, or providing advice to clients, Chris is determined to deliver the best possible result.
Christopher Mango is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud Practice Group. He focuses his practice on insurance defense and no-fault insurance fraud matters.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Chris served as an assistant district attorney at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office for five years. As a member of both the Special Operations, Narcotics & Gangs Bureau and the County Court Trial Bureau, he was responsible for handling a wide variety of felony cases, including robbery, burglary, weapons possession, attempted murder, possession and sale of controlled substances, and financial crimes. In addition, he has experience prosecuting driving while intoxicated (DWI) offenses and was formerly responsible for all Alcoholic Beverage Control Law prosecutions in Nassau County. Christopher handled all aspects of prosecution, including criminal investigations, grand jury presentations, and evidentiary hearings. Throughout his time as a prosecutor, he also completed numerous jury and non-jury trials to verdict.
In law school, Chris served as a journal editor and a teaching assistant for first-year courses. He is a Long Island native, and obtained his undergraduate degree from Villanova University.
