Benjamin finds that the most rewarding part of practicing law is the opportunity to help clients navigate difficult situations and the intricate challenges a case can present. His approach involves identifying potential risks to develop a clear and effective defense strategy, bringing clarity and confidence to challenging situations.
Benjamin Guter is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s General Litigation Practice Group.
Following law school, Ben defended cases involving automobile liability, construction defect and construction site accidents, dealership liability, employment and labor law, premise liability, and products liability.
Benjamin graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, with a specialized course of study in crime, law and society. He then received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University Maurice A. Deane School of Law.
During law school, Ben was a member of the Hofstra Law Criminal Defense Clinic where he represented indigent clients charged with misdemeanor crimes in Nassau County District Court. He provided a range of legal representation including arraignments, bail arguments, bench conferences, oral argument defending motions, plea dispositions, and sentencing.
After his second year of law school, he worked as a summer associate in a firm’s real estate and banking practice group.
In his free time, Ben enjoys golfing, cooking, reading, and spending time with his family.
