With a background in M&A and health care law, Atara enjoys navigating complex transactions and regulatory challenges with practical, business-minded solutions. Her passion for problem-solving brings clarity to intricate legal matters, allowing her clients to feel confident in their decisions.
Atara Kahn is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Health Services Practice Group.
Atara graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law in May 2024 and magna cum laude from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and Communication.
During law school, Atara served as a notes and articles editor for the Fordham Urban Law Journal and was a competitor on the ABA Mediation Team. Additionally, she was an Agunah Fellow and actively involved in the Fashion Law Pop-Up Clinic, the Voting Rights and Democracy Forum, and the First Generation Law Students Society.
Atara gained legal experience in corporate matters with a Manhattan-based firm, where she drafted shareholders’ agreements and managed corporate documents for settlement negotiations. She also developed her legal advocacy skills with a nonprofit organization, assisting clients in securing public benefits and affordable housing, and supporting attorneys with research and court preparations.
Atara was a summer associate at Rivkin Radler in 2023, where she worked on various legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and corporate legal issues.
Passionate about public interest law, Atara is committed to addressing systemic issues faced by vulnerable populations. In her free time, she enjoys watching Law & Order: SVU, attending Broadway shows, and traveling.
