Ashley (Osadon) Algazi
AssociateAshley (Osadon) Algazi is an Associate in the Health Services Practice Group. She represents various healthcare providers, including hospitals, long term care providers, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and other healthcare entities with transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters.
Ashley has counseled clients on topics ranging from fraud and abuse, managed care contracting, state licensing, Stark and Anti-Kickback laws, transactional agreements, vendor agreements, Medicare and Medicaid, reporting obligations, insurance audits, corporate practice of medicine, compliance programs and the Office of Medicaid Inspector General (“OMIG”) compliance audits, credentialing, billing and claims issues, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”), health care decision making, release of medical records, as well as many other topics.
While attending Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Ashley contributed towards projects with the Gitenstein Institute of Health Law and Policy and the Bioethics Center and received a concentration in Health Law.
The Health Services Practice Group has been listed in the prestigious Legal 500. The practice also has been included in the Chambers USA directory in the Healthcare category.
