As a former prosecutor, Alex enjoys thoroughly analyzing evidence and details relevant to the case at hand. He finds it challenging and rewarding to recognize and identify schemes and patterns among health care practitioners who defraud the health insurance industry.
Alex is an associate in the firm’s Insurance Fraud Group. He helps insurers prosecute complex civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters, and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Alex served as an assistant district attorney in Queens County, where he handled various aspects of prosecution for felony and misdemeanor cases.
Alex graduated from Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, Alex served as an associate editor of the Fordham International Law Journal, vice president of the Fordham Law Real Estate Society, and was a recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award.
