AbiDemi is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Health Services Groups. She focuses her practice on a variety of matters, including representing clients in commercial disputes, challenging audit findings by health care authorities, and assisting clients in resolving regulatory and compliance issues.

After graduating law school, Abi was an associate at a regional firm where she worked on commercial litigation, health care litigation, and corporate and regulatory matters.

Abi completed Albany Law School’s two-year accelerated J.D. program, where, notwithstanding her abbreviated tenure, she served as a student trustee, a member of the Executive Board for the Albany Law Review, and as a teaching assistant for Constitutional Law and Employment Discrimination. Her active involvement at Albany Law School earned her the John B. Lurie Memorial Prize, awarded to a third-year student who demonstrates academic merit and professional promise, and the Wann Family Prize for Excellence in Litigation.

While at Albany Law School, Abi interned for the Litigation Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General and not-for-profit legal aid societies including the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York, the National Lawyers Guild, and Disability Rights Advocates.

In her spare time, Abi enjoys cooking and baking.
