Alex has always viewed the law as a higher calling requiring steadfast integrity and the highest standards of professionalism. Deeply committed to his clients’ rights, he treats every case and client with the full attention and care they deserve.
Alexander Lev is counsel in the firm’s General Liability Practice Group. He defends commercial clients in litigation matters arising from personal injury, construction/labor law claims, Child Victims Act, premises liability, and automotive accidents.
As a skilled and seasoned litigator, Alex has a wide-ranging background and specializes in defending high-risk and complex matters. He has experience with all aspects of litigation including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, mediations, trials, and appellate advocacy.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Alex was a trial attorney with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where, in addition to acting as lead counsel in dozens of grand jury presentations and 15 jury trials, he was the county’s lead animal crimes prosecutor. Alex worked with state and federal agencies to bring down gang-run dog fighting rings and prosecute perpetrators of the most serious crimes against animals in New York. Furthering his love of animals, he is an active member of the New York State Bar Association Subcommittee on Animals and the Law.
Alex also worked at a firm in New York City, where he honed his complex commercial litigation skillset, representing clients in state and federal courts relating to contract and business disputes, financial frauds, breaches of fiduciary duty, negligence, defamation, violations of civil rights and other business torts.
