Rivkin Radler Welcomes Two New Attorneys

William M. Savino, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, is pleased to announce the addition of two new associates to the firm. Alycia K. Blaeser, of Plainview, and Patricia Doran, of Bloomfield, NJ have joined the Uniondale and Hackensack offices, respectively. “My partners and I are delighted to welcome Alycia and Patricia to Rivkin Radler,” said William Savino. “Their experience and commitment to professional excellence will make them assets to the firm and its clients and we look forward to working with them both,” he concluded.

Ms. Blaeser has joined the Insurance Coverage & Litigation Practice Group, where she will represent insurance companies nationwide in environmental and commercial general liability coverage litigation. Blaeser received her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, where she received academic awards for excellence in trial advocacy and for her work in the Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic. She was also a published staff member of the New York International Law Review.

Ms. Doran has joined the Professional Liability Practice Group. She has extensive experience handling complex civil litigation. Her areas of practice have included professional liability litigation, product liability, construction cases, environmental litigation, telecommunication litigation, contract litigation, Mass Tort and general litigation.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Ms. Doran was a partner in a Somerset County law firm, and associated with a prominent insurance defense firm. She was a Registered Nurse from 1982-2009 and has extensive background in medical/legal analysis in areas as diverse as obstetrics and gynecology, pharmacologically induced disorders, and evaluation of critically ill patients. She has successfully participated in the resolution of medical malpractice, accounting malpractice, and attorney malpractice claims in state court. Doran also has extensive experience in both the prosecution and defense of products liability claims in a wide range or areas from telecommunication equipment to home appliances. She has successfully defended these matters in both state and federal courts.  Doran received her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School.
