Rivkin Radler Welcomes New Associate Diana Rivkin

Evan H. Krinick, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, has announced that Diana Rivkin, who joined the firm in September 2014, has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

Diana Rivkin, of Dix Hills, is a member of the Firm’s Litigation & Appeals Practice Group.  She focuses her practice on insurance defense and no-fault insurance fraud issues.

Diana graduated from Hofstra Law School, where she was the articles editor for the Family Court Review.  During law school, Diana interned for U.S. District Court Judge Arthur D. Spatt of the Eastern District of New York. In addition, she interned for the New York State Grievance Committee, 10th Judicial District, and was selected to be a student member of the New York City Bar Association’s Professional Discipline Committee.  Diana also was the recipient of Hofstra Law School’s award for excellence in Tort Law.

Diana is active in not-for-profit organizations that focus on the advancement of women as well as the protection of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. While an undergraduate at the University of Virginia, she served as an intern in the sexual and domestic violence services department of the university’s Women’s Center. In recognition of her work, she was invited to attend the 14th anniversary of the signing of the Violence Against Women Act, hosted by Vice President Joe Biden. Diana is a member of the Host Committee for the Grace Institute in New York City and is an executive board member of Rivkin Radler’s Women’s Initiative.

Diana holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Master Captain’s License. She also was a member of the University of Virginia’s Division 1 Varsity crew team.
