Intellectual Property Group Presents Seminar

Gregory D. Miller, Stephen J. Smirti, Jr., Nancy A. Del Pizzo, and Michael C. Cannata, partners in the Firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, presented a seminar entitled “Intellectual Property: What is it and why is it important?” to members of the design team of one of the most well-recognized, and respected, New York based fashion designers.

The seminar covered topics including copyright, trademark, and patent protection and enforcement with an emphasis on how these issues relate to the fashion industry.  The seminar was followed by a lively question and answer session where members of the design team, and our attorneys, identified and analyzed critical issues that designers face on a day-to-day basis in today’s fast-paced fashion industry.
