Stacey L. Goldstein focuses her practice on the representation of businesses in connection with general corporate matters, commercial real estate, commercial leasing and loan transactions.
She provides counsel to a vast array of for-profit, not-for-profit and tax-exempt entities. Her transactional experience includes negotiating and closing complex real estate transactions including ground leases, retail leases and nursing home sales.
Stacey represents various healthcare providers, including hospitals, long-term care providers, physician practices and other healthcare entities with transactional, regulatory and compliance matters. She also assists captive professional corporations with respect to formation and securing tax-exempt status. Stacey also has experience in the tax-exempt financing of affordable housing projects and mortgage and asset-based financing for both for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
Since 2012, Stacey has served as town attorney for the Town of Pittstown, New York. As such, she represents and advises the town board on matters pertaining to real estate, title, municipal law and municipal finance.
As the owner and manager of a small business, Stacey brings entrepreneurial know-how to the firm. In addition, she is a member of the American Health Law Association.
Stacey has lent her experience to the Rensselaer Land Trust, Inc., where she was a former member of the Board of Directors and a past member of the Executive Committee.
