Ora Lupear is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Compliance, Investigations & White Collar and Insurance Fraud Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on insurance defense and no-fault insurance fraud matters.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Ora was an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office.

As a felony trial assistant in Trial Division Gun Readiness Unit, Ora prosecuted a wide variety of felony cases, including attempted murder, robbery, and extortion, but focused primarily on the prosecution of firearm-related felonies, including shootings, and illegal firearm possession. In handling such cases from inception through conclusion, Ora conducted several investigations by drafting various search warrants, subpoenas and motions to compel DNA.

Ora also has experience with general motion practice, case intake, grand jury presentations, voir dire and plea negotiations. Additionally, Ora tried numerous cases, including felonies, through verdict.

During his undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, Ora was a Division I NCAA athlete, playing on the football team. Ora is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School.

In his spare time, Ora enjoys going to the gym, hiking and reading.
