Jason M. Romeo litigates cases involving toxic torts, products liability, medical and dental malpractice, construction site accidents, and general liability.
Serving as Counsel in Rivkin Radler’s Appeals, Complex Torts and Product Liability and Medical Malpractice Defense Practice Groups, Jason successfully has defended chemical manufacturers against claims arising from exposure to the defoliant Agent Orange. He also has helped pharmaceutical companies defeat products liability suits, has defended claims against manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors for asbestos exposures, and successfully represented companies sued in false advertising class actions.
Jason represents hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, adult care facilities, and home health aide agencies against claims of malpractice, negligence, and statutory violations. In addition, he defends owners and contractors against claims involving premises liability, construction accidents, and lead paint exposure.
Jason graduated from St. John’s University School of Law, cum laude, and was a member of the Moot Court Board. He received numerous awards for distinction in several classes, including Legal Research & Writing, Constitutional Law, and Estate Administration.
When he’s not circling the bases for the Rivkin Radler softball team, Jason can be found volunteering his time at the North Bellmore/North Merrick Little League, where he is the league’s director.
