Frank P. Izzo is a Partner in Rivkin Radler’s Poughkeepsie office, where he maintains a general law practice. He focuses on litigation, health care law, community association counseling, general corporate representation and creditors’ rights.

Often called upon to represent healthcare providers, Frank counsels them in areas such as patient retention, treatment over objection, and guardianship proceedings. Frank also advises our health care clients on patients’ rights, the Family Health Care Decisions Act and discharge challenges. Frank has presented on topics such as involuntary admissions, end-of-life decisions, and guardianship. Since 2016, the Health Services Practice Group has been recognized in the Chambers USA directory.

Frank leverages his diverse experience on behalf of clients involved in all types of litigation. He represents clients in automobile, general liability, and contractual claims, and he represents insurance carriers in first-party property claims. Frank also advises small businesses and construction companies in commercial disputes.

Having served as the Special Prosecutor for the Town of Fishkill for over a decade, Frank handles the prosecution of violations under the Fishkill town code and the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Frank truly enjoys working with his community association clients, which include homeowners association (HOA) boards and managing agents. Frank is a former HOA board member and has an intimate understanding of the unique challenges HOAs face. This background makes him well-suited to advise them on all aspects of governance.

Frank is also a strong advocate for creditors’ rights and regularly appears in bankruptcy courts on behalf of his clients to ensure those rights are protected.

When he is not in the office, Frank maintains active participation in the community. He volunteers his time with the local school communities and coaches softball for the Pleasant Valley Little League.
