Ari Katzap is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on landlord-tenant disputes and real estate-related litigation matters. He represents a broad range of clients including property owners, tenants, landlords, investors, and lenders in both litigation and transactional matters throughout New York and New Jersey.

Ari regularly handles non-payment and holdover proceedings, property disputes, civil litigation, and administrative hearings.

Before joining Rivkin Radler, Ari practiced at a boutique firm, where he focused on landlord-tenant law and handled a range of civil litigation and Supreme Court matters related to real estate. Earlier in his career, he served as assistant corporate counsel and assistant chief of the Contract Scope Unit at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), where he advised on contract compliance and legal risk for major public housing development projects.

Ari began his legal career running his own practice in New York City for nearly ten years, where he represented clients in civil, supreme, and federal courts, advised them in the purchase, sale, and transfer of residential and commercial properties, and represented lenders in real estate transactions.

Ari is fluent in Hebrew, and conversant in Russian. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing the drums.
