Andrew (Andy) Berks was a seasoned patent attorney with a comprehensive approach to intellectual property law. With over 17 years of professional experience, he distinguished himself through a client-centric practice that prioritizes personal relationships and a deep understanding of each client’s unique business objectives.
Specializing in chemistry and life sciences, Andy offered an expansive range of patent-related services. His expertise spanned strategic patent counseling, drafting and prosecution, patent appeals, AIA trials, litigation, enforcement actions, licensing, research agreements, and specialized areas like biosimilars and Hatch-Waxman strategies. Despite his primary focus on chemistry and life sciences, he successfully handled patent matters across diverse technical domains.
Andy’s international patent practice was particularly robust.
