Allison N. Stapleton is an Associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud Practice Group.

Allison helps insurers prosecute civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters, and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Allison served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, where she tried multiple jury and bench trials and handled numerous pretrial hearings. Allison successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases from arrest to sentencing including sex crimes, domestic violence, animal cruelty, and other misdemeanor and felony offenses.

While at Hofstra Law School, Allison served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal. She was also a member of the Hofstra Trial Advocacy Association, where she was part of a national finalist team in the American Association for Justice Mock Trial Competition and the champion team in the Queens District Attorney’s Office Mock Trial Competition.
