Alexandra Cusano is an Associate in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud Practice Group.

Alexandra’s practice focuses on prosecuting civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters, and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Alexandra served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office’s Vehicular Crimes Bureau. During her time there, she handled all aspects of prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases, both violent and non-violent. She also handled criminal investigations, conducted numerous grand jury presentations and pre-trial hearings, and conducted multiple bench and jury trials to verdict.

Alexandra is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo Law School where she was an executive editor for the Public Interest Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court board. She was also a member of the Trial Team Program, where she participated in multiple competitions.
