Alexander Zugaro is an associate in Rivkin Radler’s Compliance, Investigations & White Collar and Insurance Fraud Practice Groups. He focuses his practice on insurance defense and no-fault insurance fraud matters.
Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Alex was an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office.
As a felony trial assistant in Trial Bureau 50, he prosecuted a wide variety of cases, including assaults, robberies, burglaries, firearm possession and attempted murders. Alex handled the prosecution of these cases from intake to trial, conducting investigations, plea negotiations and hearings. He also conducted several bench and jury trials to verdict. Additionally, he drafted numerous search warrants and subpoenas.
While a law student at Pace University School of Law, Alex was a senior editor of the Pace Law Review, competed in trial competitions with the Pace Law Trial Advocacy Team, and graduated with honors.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys being in the gym, watching soccer, and fishing.
