Alexander Lev is an Associate in Rivkin Radler’s General Liability Practice group where he represents clients in automotive liability matters. Prior to joining the Firm, Alexander was a senior associate with a prominent, AM Law 200 firm where he practiced in the complex tort & general casualty group. Alexander’s practice consisted of the defense of commercial clients in matters arising from premises liability, transportation, automotive, elevator and construction accidents. He conducted a multitude of depositions, summary judgment motions, oral arguments, and settlement negotiations obtaining favorable results for his clients.
Alexander also served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where he acted as lead counsel in numerous jury trials. He successfully prosecuted high-profile cases while working in the Public Corruption Bureau to rid Nassau County of corruption in the forms of police misconduct, political corruption, school and district fraud, crimes committed in prison, and county employees who abused their positions. Additionally, Alexander aided in the further development and efficacy of the District Attorney’s Animal Crimes Unit by working with veterinarians, police agencies, and the public to educate them on the signs of animal abuse. He successfully prosecuted numerous animal cruelty cases involving dog fighting rings, criminal neglect of animals, animal hoarding, and illegal importation and possession of wildlife.
