Rivkin Team Obtains Summary Judgment

Richard Feldman, a partner in the firm’s Insurance Coverage & Litigation and Litigation & Appeals Practice Groups, and David Guadagnoli, an associate in the firm’s Insurance Coverage & Litigation Practice Group, obtained summary judgment in Maine State court on behalf of a large national carrier against a bodily injury plaintiff seeking to satisfy a $1.5 million consent judgment.  They successfully asserted non-coverage under the policy’s “automobile and corporate car loss settlement” condition (first decision of its kind in the country), in a very aggressively litigated coverage action.
