Rivkin Radler’s Cheryl Korman To Be Honored by the Long Island Women’s Agenda.

UNIONDALE, NY – Rivkin Radler partner, Cheryl Korman, has been named an honoree by the Long Island Women Agenda’s (LIWA) for her outstanding achievements in the legal profession as well as her good works to help women through her work with the American Heart Association.  Ms. Korman is a partner in the firm’s Litigation & Appeals Practice Group, specializing in all areas of appellate practice, in addition to general civil litigation.  She has successfully handled complex appeals in the New York State Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and each of the Appellate Divisions throughout the state.

An active board member of the American Heart Association for the Long Island Region, Ms. Korman works to raise dollars and awareness for issues relating to heart disease among women.  In 2008, Ms. Korman was named the Chairwomen of the American Heart Association’s “Go Red For Women” luncheon. 

Ms. Korman will be recognized at LIWA’s annual awards dinner entitled, “A Celebration of Women,” to be held on June 6 at the Fox Hollow in Woodbury, LI.
