Rivkin Radler welcomes new partner

Evan H. Krinick, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, has announced that Gregory D. Miller has joined the firm as a Partner in the firm’s Insurance Coverage & Litigation, Intellectual Property and Litigation & Appeals Practice Groups, resident in the New Jersey office.

Greg has more than 20 years of experience in civil litigation and corporate counseling, including trial and appellate work involving complex commercial matters, intellectual property and insurance law disputes.  

Greg’s practice includes litigating contractual, business torts and shareholder and partnership disputes; representing pharmaceutical and other corporate clients in a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including restrictive covenants, unfair competition, trade secrets, copyright, trademark, and patent cases; providing counsel and drafting advice in connection with business ventures, including restrictive covenants, supply and licensing, distribution, confidentiality, employment, and other agreements; litigating complex insurance coverage disputes and subrogation claims, including environmental and catastrophic claims, and bad faith actions. 

Greg’s experience includes the successful defense of dozens of significant claims arising from Y2K, 9/11 and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, many of which exceeded $100 million. He has provided advice and acted as New Jersey counsel in Hatch-Waxman and other patent infringement disputes. Over the past 15 years he has represented pharmaceutical companies in dozens of cases.

Greg is a frequent author and speaker on various topics relevant to his practice, and was named a “Rising Star” by New Jersey Monthly magazine’s Super Lawyers® edition for insurance coverage.   He is an active member of the ABA’s Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the Section of Litigation.  He currently serves as a manager editor and previously served as Co-Chair of the Bad Faith Subcommittee. Additionally, Greg was appointed and currently is a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey, District VA Fee Arbitration Committee.

After graduating from Colgate University, Greg attended the University of Tulsa College of Law, from which he graduated as a member of the Tulsa Law Review and the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. He also received Certification in Resources, Energy and Environmental Law from the National Energy & Environmental Law Policy Institute.
