Rivkin Radler Welcomes 4 New Associates

Evan H. Krinick, Managing Partner of Rivkin Radler LLP, has announced that Brian L. Feld, Daniel E. Furshpan, Janine Peress and Johanna Sanchez have joined the firm as Associates.

Brian L. Feld is a member of the firm’s General Liability Practice Group. He represents clients in construction/labor law, premises liability, property damage, personal injury, and products liability cases.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Brian focused his practice on litigation matters, including products liability, toxic tort and motor vehicle claims.  He has performed extensive work briefing lower court motions on behalf of his clients, and has been involved with all phases of the pre-trial processes, appearing in the federal and state courts of New York.

Brian received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.

Daniel E. Furshpan is experienced in all areas of negligence defense.  As an associate in the General Liability Department, he concentrates his practice in the defense of premises liability, construction/labor law and automotive claims.  Daniel has successfully tried many summary jury trials to verdict.  He is a tireless advocate for his clients.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Daniel honed his litigation skills at a prominent Long Island insurance defense firm where he defended complex and high-exposure claims on behalf of municipalities and public authorities such as the MTA, New York City Transit Authority, Long Island Railroad, County of Suffolk, Town of East Hampton and the Incorporated Villages of Lawrence and Rockville Centre.  Daniel also has experience in the areas of insurance coverage, no-fault and UM/SUM petitions and arbitrations.

Daniel earned his Juris Doctor from New England School of Law.

Janine L. Peress defends a wide variety of clients in personal injury cases, including construction/labor law, premises liability, general negligence, and motor vehicle claims.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Janine practiced civil defense litigation for nine years at a Manhattan law firm.  Janine also served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami Dade County, where she successfully prosecuted many felony and misdemeanor cases from inception through trial.

Janine received her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.

Johanna Sanchez represents employers in all aspects of workplace law.

As an Associate in Rivkin Radler’s Employment & Labor Practice Group, she focuses her practice on counseling clients in traditional labor and employment law matters. Johanna defends employers and supervisors in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, unfair labor practice and wage and hour matters before federal and state courts. In addition, she also counsels businesses with respect to employment and compensation policies.

Prior to joining Rivkin Radler, Johanna successfully represented clients in dozens of wage and hour individual and collective action lawsuits.

While attending Cornell Law School, Johanna was a member of the Labor Law Clinic, Moot Court Board and Alternative Dispute Resolution Society.

Johanna earned her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School.
