Mascia and Han Obtain TN Visa for Graphic Designer from Canada

TN visas are for highly skilled Mexican and Canadian professionals.  TN visas, which are issued pursuant to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), are only available for certain professions, but they offer employers tremendous flexibility due to the expedited application process at the border and the potential for indefinite renewals.

In this case, foreign national sought a TN visa in the graphic designer category, but she lacked a graphic design degree.  The firm established that her fine arts degree combined with her graphic design experience was the equivalent of a graphic design degree.  The firm prepared the application and identified the of supporting documents for the foreign national to bring to the interview, which included her graphic design portfolio.”
