Gold Obtains Successful Verdict
January 9, 2018 |After a two-day trial in the Civil Kings Commercial Landlord-Tenant Part, Dana Gold obtained a successful verdict for a client. The case involved a parking garage tenant who was recently evicted based on their failure to issue payments in excess of $50,000 pursuant to a so-ordered stipulation of settlement. The tenant challenged the eviction, claiming that all required payments were made. Via witness testimony and documentary evidence, Dana was able to successfully challenge and invalidate each payment made, as well as dismiss challenges to service of process, restoring possession of the premises to the owner.
