Erez Glambosky, a partner in the firm’s Litigation & Appeals Practice Group, will be a speaker at the New York County Lawyer’s Association CLE entitled, “Perceptions of a Multi-Family Real Estate Deal.”  Mr. Glambosky’s topic is the impact of rent regulation laws on the purchase of residential multifamily properties in NYC.

Course Description:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that applies to multifamily properties as well.  Join us as we discuss a residential real estate deal from the perspectives of the owner, the lender, the buyer, and their respective attorneys, and how the parties’ perceptions may change if they were on the other side of the table.

Learn how specific business and legal issues can impact a deal, such as the rent regulation laws, tax benefits, government financing, income and rent restrictions and the influx of capital by a purchaser.  Speakers will also discuss what representations and terms can be deal breakers for the respective parties, and how those necessary representations may change.
