Bushwack Moderates Women’s Initiative Panel

On October 11, Rivkin Radler’s Women’s Initiative hosted a networking event to celebrate “Her Story: Lessons in Success from Lawyers Who Live It,” a book co-edited by Jacqueline Bushwack and published by the American Bar Association.

The event, which was attended by several of the Firm’s female clients, was a cocktail hour followed by a lively panel discussion about defining, achieving and managing a successful career.

“Her Story: Lessons in Success from Lawyers Who Live It” is a collection of essays by and about lawyers overcoming obstacles, reaching goals and leading lives that are filled to the brim and rich with challenges, successes and opportunities. These are stories with advice and unique perspectives. The stories’ authors enjoy their careers and personal lives, and understand that telling their story is important to encourage their colleagues and attorneys new to the profession to make their lives work for them.

Panelists included  Robyn Wolf-Eagle, Principal and Chief Human Resources Officer for Contract Pharmacal; Maureen McCormick, Executive Assistant District Attorney from the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office; Pam D’Apuzzo, President of RR Health Strategies; and Katherine Heaviside, the President of Epoch 5. Jacqueline served as panel moderator.
