Ade and Pappas Win Motion for Summary Judgment

Brian Ade and Alexander Pappas won motion for summary judgment dismissing Plaintiff’s complaint with prejudice against their client, a water utility. Plaintiff alleged that the client negligently excavated a trench in a road which created a depression in the cross walk which caused the plaintiff to trip and fall when she walked through the cross walk. The judge agreed with our position that the plaintiff did not proffer any evidence to establish a causal connection between the excavation and the depression and granted summary judgment in favor of our client.
