Stella Lellos and Robert Kern closed the acquisition of a tire-recycling business located on the East End of Long Island.  Lellos and Kern represented the purchaser, a prominent waste management company, in the acquisition of the assets of the seller. This was the client’s first foray into the tire-recycling industry.

Stella Lellos was a panelist at Hofstra University’s “Corporate Boot Camp: What a Corporate Lawyer Needs to Know”. She discussed the practice of mergers and acquisitions and the intricacies of corporate practice and participated in a mock acquisition negotiation.

Stella Lellos was appointed Education Coordinator for the Commercial Law section of USLAW for 2018. Stella is responsible for selecting and coordinating all of the topics and content to be presented by the Commercial Law section at all of the conferences for 2018.

Stella Lellos led a panel at the US Law Network Cross Border exchange in Chicago focusing on Fintech and its associated disruption of the financial services industry.   Specifically, Stella addressed issues related to the formation of fintech companies, raising capital, tax reporting, intellectual property and compliance with regulations from a US and global perspective.
