3 Rivkin Radler Attorneys Receive Leadership in Law Awards

Rivkin Radler is proud to announce that Christopher J. Kutner, Albert W. Petraglia and Avigael C. Fyman have received Long Island Business News’ Leadership in Law Award, in the categories of Partner, Counsel and Associate, respectively.  This honor recognizes individuals who demonstrate dedication, hard work, skill, tenacity and excellence, as well as leadership qualities in both the legal profession and in the community.

Christopher J. Kutner, of Rockville Centre, was formerly General Counsel as well as Compliance and Privacy Officer of a regional managed care organization in New York. In that role, he was instrumental in making referrals and working with state and federal law enforcement on investigations of individuals and entities based on healthcare fraud claims, among others.  A Partner in Rivkin Radler’s Compliance, Investigations & White Collar and Health Services Practice Groups, Christopher represents healthcare providers who are being audited or investigated by governmental offices.

Albert W. Petraglia, of Garden City, is a Of Counsel in Rivkin Radler’s Trusts, Estates & Taxation Practice Group.  Albert concentrates his practice on Surrogate’s Court litigation, trusts and estates administration and complex estate planning and elder law matters. Previously, Albert served as Chief Clerk-Referee at the Nassau County Surrogate’s Court for more than 30 years, where he was responsible for the daily operation of the Nassau County Surrogate’s Court.

Avigael C. Fyman, of West Hempstead, is an Associate in Rivkin Radler’s Directors & Officers Liability; Privacy, Data & Cyber Law; and Professional Liability Practice Groups.  Avigael focuses her practice on defending attorneys, accountants, directors and officers, insurance agents, brokers and third-party administrators in suits alleging malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, defamation, fraud, misrepresentation and ethical violations. She defends tech companies in claims involving the enforceability of terms of service and has counseled insurers on coverage issues under Cyber Liability policies. She also counsels insurers on coverage issues.

Christopher, Albert and Avigael will be recognized at a special awards dinner at the Crest Hollow Country Club on November 17.
