Korman on panel at NYSBA CLE Symposium

June 1, 2015 | Appeals

Cheryl Korman, a partner in the Firm’s Litigation & Appeals practice group, will be a panelist at the New York State Bar Association’s CLE Symposium and Reception to meet the justices of the Appellate Division, First Department.

The Symposium is a special event in which the Justices of the Appellate Division, First Department have graciously agreed to attend. Experienced appellate lawyers will ask the Justices detailed questions on their recommendations, tips, and dos and don’ts for effective brief writing and oral argument in the First Department.

This program will focus on specific practice in the First Department and what you should know about brief writing and advocacy techniques in order to have the greatest chance of success in that court.

The reception at the conclusion of the CLE presentation will provide you the opportunity to visit with the members of the Court and our colleagues.

This basic-to-intermediate course may be used for MCLE credit of 2.0 hours in “Skills” by all attorneys, including those who are newly admitted (less than 24 months)
