Rivkin Radler welcomes new Counsel to the firm

Nancy Del Pizzo has joined the firm as Counsel in the Intellectual Property and Litigation & Appeals practice groups.  Nancy helps solve commercial disputes, including those involving intellectual property matters such as trademark, trade dress, copyright and patent infringement, domain name disputes, source codes, misappropriation of trade secrets and unfair competition, defamation, libel and trade libel. She also drafts intellectual property-related agreements and drafts and files copyright registrations.

In 2014, Nancy was appointed co-chair of the Internet/Privacy Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Litigation Section.  In 2013, the Supreme Court of New Jersey appointed Nancy to its District VC Ethics Committee (Essex County ? West).  In 2011 and 2012, Nancy was appointed by the President of the New Jersey State Bar Association (“NJSBA”) to the NJSBA Pro Bono Committee. She is a former Chair of and currently serves as a Trustee of the NJSBA’s LGBT Rights Section. Nancy was the featured profile in the New Jersey Law Journal’s “The Bar Report,” February 27, 2012.

Nancy was named a “Rising Star” in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 by New Jersey Super Lawyers Magazine. In 2014, Nancy received a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating in Intellectual Property, Litigation and Civil Practice.  In 2012, she was named a Barrister in the John C. Lifland Inn of Court.  She received the 2007 New Jersey Occupational Therapy Association President’s Award for “Outstanding and Committed Service” for her pro bono work.

Nancy began her legal career in 2005 as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Barbara Byrd Wecker, J.A.D. (ret.).
