Korman a speaker at NYS Bar Association

Cheryl Korman will be a speaker at the New York State Bar Association’s program entitled, “Update On Practice in the 2D Circuit Court of Appeals 2014.”  Ms. Korman’s topic will be, “Pitfalls For the Unwary.”

About the program:

The Committee on Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction is pleased to offer this timely, half-day course on key elements of successfully handling appeals in the Second Circuit. Designed as a refresher and update for both the experienced federal practitioner and the general litigator who may only occasionally appear in the Second Circuit, the program faculty features Second Circuit Judges, the Clerk of the Court, and experienced appellate practitioners. The program will provide insight into the inner workings of the Court and will emphasize practical tips designed to enhance the quality of appellate advocacy for both civil and criminal appeals in the Second Circuit. The faculty will offer their insight on what they see as current and upcoming issues to be handled by the Court. Registrants will have the opportunity to submit questions for consideration by the faculty.
