Seth B. Goldberg defends and advises on professional liability claims brought against attorneys, insurance agents and brokers, business brokers, and computer and technology service providers.

An associate in Rivkin Radler’s Complex Tort and Product Liability and Professional Liability Practice Groups, Seth also regularly defends manufacturers and distributors of diverse medical, commercial, and industrial products in state and federal courts across the country. He also often assists in the defense of premises liability actions alleged against major sports and entertainment venues and other commercial building owners and operators.

Seth serves as coverage and monitoring counsel for insurers and reinsurers in matters involving subprime and second-lien mortgage securitizations, marine liabilities, environmental contamination, and coverage disputes arising under professional liability lines.

Seth provides pro bono representation to the indigent in landlord-tenant court. As a member of the St. John’s Law School Alumni Association, Seth mentors law school students in connection with their career development and routinely assists in judging law school sponsored competitions. He also is a member of the Binghamton University Alumni Association, the American Bar Association, and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (“PLUS”).

At law school, Seth was articles and notes editor of the St. John’s Law Review.
