Sean Gorton is a Partner in Rivkin Radler’s Insurance Fraud Practice Group. He helps insurers prosecute civil lawsuits under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, medical suppliers, and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes.

Sean has substantial experience with virtually all aspects of federal litigation, including conducting fact investigations, drafting pleadings and motions, pursuing discovery, engaging in settlement negotiations, taking depositions, and arguing in court.

In 2022 and 2023, Super Lawyers named Sean a Rising Star in the Metropolitan New York area. Sean also currently serves on the Fundraising Board for the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Young Professionals Program in Metro New York.

Sean graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as a teaching assistant in the first year Legal Research and Writing Program and was published in the George Washington International Law Review.
